Five properties.
Five distinct visions.
One philosophy.
Each Eden & Dane project begins with the same question - what is this land actually capable of becoming? The answers below are wildly different. The discipline is the same.
Southern revival,
tropical flair.
An 800-square-foot regenerative estate landscape that pushes the climate envelope. Banana plants thriving in Zone 7, alongside heritage hardwoods and a custom stone cairn fountain anchoring the entry. A property that surprises every visitor and feels rooted to the family that lives there.
A 25.5′ x 25.5′ walled garden that feels alive and full – pockets of beauty and function at every turn, without feeling staged. Impressionistic in style, practical at its core.
“Dane has been so purposeful and wise in helping me create a sustainable garden on my property in Virginia. His depth of knowledge, his diligence, and his dedication to making something beautiful and functional are rare today.” Eden S., Garden Client
A self-reliance food forest.
Designed for the long arc. The owners wanted a property that would feed and shelter the family for generations. We built a layered forest garden where every tree is sited with a forty-plus-year horizon, and the family can walk it together every season.
Annual yield at full maturity, priced at $3–4/lb for produce, $8/lb for nuts, and $10/lb for herbs – figures that exclude fewer food miles, less strain on the supply chain, and the hours a family spends outside together instead of at the store.
A boutique retreat
that pays its own way.
Designed for a musician's California property. The brief asked us to weave income into the land without sacrificing sanctuary. We delivered both - a fully-equipped Airstream rental anchoring a drought-tolerant edible landscape, with stone meditation spaces that invite stillness.
A five-acre farmette
built for self-sufficiency.
A comprehensive design across five acres. Orchard, pasture, gardens, water capture, and wildlife corridors - every system reinforces the next. The owners wanted true self-sufficiency, with the dignity of a designed estate. We delivered both.
The existing apple block is expanded into a 40-tree food forest, with 27 new fruit and nut trees and a full understory guild planted around each – sequenced to also capture cost-share reimbursements and conservation tax positions most landscapes leave on the table.
Walking gardens
for wellness.
A design-only consultation for a therapeutic landscape. The owner wanted a property that supported their wellness practice. We layered medicinal plants, sensory rhythm, and stormwater intelligence into a cohesive plan they could phase in over time, at their own pace.
Every property is a different question.
